How it works?
In our Automatic Backwash Filter system, the filtration process is carefully orchestrated to ensure thorough cleaning and continuous operation:
1. **Inlet Flow Distribution**: The unfiltered liquid enters the filter through the inlet (3). 50% of the liquid is directed through the central distribution tube towards the top of the filter (4), while the remaining portion flows directly into the filter elements from the bottom (6). This simultaneous entry ensures efficient filtration.
2. **Filtration Process**: Within the filter elements, the unfiltered liquid undergoes thorough filtration, removing impurities as it passes through. The filtered liquid exits the filter through the outlet (7), ready for further processing or use.
3. **Backwash Triggering**: When the preset pressure drop or time limit is reached (9), the automatic backwash procedure is initiated. This ensures that the filter maintains optimal performance without manual intervention.
4. **Backwash Mechanism**: A gear motor drives the back-flushing rotation arm (1) to initiate the backwash process. As this occurs, a sliding block (2) covers the upper end of the filter element, preventing any backwash fluid from escaping prematurely.
5. **Reverse Flush**: The back-flushing valve opens, allowing clean filtrate to flow in reverse through the filter elements (8). This reverse flow dislodges and washes away accumulated impurities, which are then discharged through the sewage pipe.
This meticulous backwash process ensures that the filter elements remain clean and fully functional, allowing for continuous filtration without interruptions. With this system in place, you can rely on consistent filtration performance and minimal maintenance requirements for your operations.
